Show Building Expansion Continues As Two New Structures Take Shape A continued expansion of business bus-iness concerns in Preston's business busi-ness district was evidenced this week by the announcement from C. A. Lundahl, Logan businessman, that the two new buildings being constructed on the East Oneida and Mnin street corner had been leased. He also announced the remodeling remodel-ing plans on the Prescription Drug store which is now being redecorated redecora-ted inside and out. The stairway on the south side of the building has been removed to add additional addi-tional floor space and permit the installation of a modern front and display window to the store. A new heating and lighting system will also be installed. The interior of the store will undergo extensive changes. At the fear of the drug store and with a front facing East Oneida street, a modern new brick structure is being constructed con-structed to house the Modern Laundry and Dry Cleaners. Plans are being made by the leasees to install laundry equipment in addition to the dry cleaning plant. More detailed de-tailed information will be available in the near future. Doud's Bowling Courts will move from their present location to the building now being constructed on the south side of the Prescription Drug on Main street. The larger building will permit the installation installa-tion of two additional alleys for a total of six pin alleys, Carleton Doud announces. The move will be made immediately on completion comple-tion of the new building. |
