Show Junior High School Students Select Class Officers In Balloting Last Week Abraham Lincoln once said, No man is good enough to govern another an-other man without that other's consent. con-sent. Using that as a model of conduct, con-duct, students of the Jr. High separated iuto their respective grades to elect class officers for the year 1940-1941. During the rest of the year these officers will work for their class by promoting class activity and service. It was a walk-away for Bobby Anderson, one of the. 100 ninth grade students; but close behind him was Donna Jean Hansen, sharing shar-ing the honors as vice-president. ..Out-of-town students had their say- when their canaiaaie, i,ujean iuie, won the right to wield the pen. The eighth grade was definitely decided on Beverley Kilgore as their leader, and a new-comer to the school, Margie Perkins, will echo her policies as vice-president. The lone boy Robert Geddes (Banida) (Ba-nida) will be their scribe. Keen competition was especially evident in the seventh grade. But Ellis Johnson came through with flying colors as president; "Six-footer" Clyde Palmer will attend at-tend to all the vice, while Barbara Johnson, as secretary, will record. Their notorious doings will be aired by Shirley Hansen. |
