OUR CITY GROWING. Scores of Acres of New Land Being Taken up and Cultivated. Many acres of new city land, land that had never before been touched by the modern plow, are being broken and placed in condition for cultivation. New home sites, gardening and fruit raising are the objects in view. Brigham City is fast spreading over quite an extensive exten-sive area of country. Each year, the erection of new homes on the outskirts and the breaking and cultivation of heretofore dry, sagebrush sage-brush tracts skirting the city, do much toward aiding in our steady growth. More water is what we need. The increased supply accruing ac-cruing from the water works and the Bear River Canal will greatly augment this prosperous increase.
