Show By Wynona Henderson 679-8560 Sandy and Gary Johnson, along with Kirk and Annette Chynoweth and Dixie Burbidge went on a three-mile hike at Coyote Butte. The scenery was spectacular and they had a great day. Congratulations to Joe and Ilda Vera on the arrival of their baby girl. Her name will be Giselle and she weighed in at 6 lbs. 8 ozs. She will be welcomed wel-comed home by all the family. Riley Miller was sworn in as our new mayor by Lisa Chynoweth, town clerk, also, Boyd Smith as a new council member. We wish them well and offer our support. Max and Lozann Eagar spent one day at the St. George LDS Temple. They report it was cold in Utah's Dixie. Ernie and Wynona Henderson picked up their son, Mitch at Brian Head and they all traveled to Salt Lake City for the wedding wed-ding of Brandon Myler and Crystalina Taylor in the Jordan River LDS Temple. They were able to visit many of their old friends there, then they visited, Larry and Vernae Higley in their new home. They were next door neighbors for 38 years. Vernae is recuperating nicely after heart surgery. John and Annie Bamett are home and getting out again fol-' lowing his heart surgery in Las Vegas. They got home and caught the flu bug that is going around. Hardly a household without it. Berthene Griffin has returned after going up north with her daughter, Shelly Barney. They went to get acquainted with a new grandbaby, a boy, born to David and Candace Shakeapear. Congratulations to grandparents Wade and Shelly Barney, Franz and Margaret Shakespear and of course Berthene, the new great grandmother. Rod and Amber Bonzini and two children, John and Nathan of Kaysville were visitors at her sister's, Gayle and Frankie Moore's. LaRona Callahan, Ramona Copfer, Linda Clayton, Golda Mclnelly, Cindy and Jessica Johnson were in Salt Lake City for doctors appointments. They stayed with Verl Mclnelly in Grantsville. He is recovering from a recent stroke. t |
