Show lion's Club To Hold Convention PANGUITCH The Panguitch Pan-guitch Lion's Club will be hosting the District 28T Convention, which is held every year for all Lion's Club members below the Provo area. Guests at this year's convention, to be held Sept. 5-6 include Robert Browning, International Interna-tional Lion's Club director from West Virginia; Jay Meservy, candidate can-didate for International Director from Utah; council chairman Lewis Le-wis Bowler; District Governor Don Stuker, Cedar City; Vice-District Vice-District Governor Jim Clark and Zone Leader Wally Henrie, Panguitch. Pan-guitch. Panguitch Lion's Club members mem-bers plan to tour the Cedar Breaks area and Bryce Canyon during the convention, as well as attend business meetings. A kick-off steak fry, prepared by Vee Henrie and the Panguitch Lions is planned and members will attend the Sesquicentennial city-wide talent show, which is under the direction of Sherril Henrie Hen-rie and D'Lynn Poll. Saturday activities will include in-clude a pancake breakfast, open to the public for $3.50 per person from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m.; business meetings and lunch at the Flying M Restaurant; tours of the Paun-sagaunt Paun-sagaunt Wildlife Museum, Snowed In Quilt Shop, the Historical His-torical Homes tour, and a walking tour of Panguitch. Completing the evening will be dinner at the Social Hall, catered ca-tered by Flying M, with entertainment enter-tainment and a raffle. |
