Lowe met with Richard Bagley of Adult Probation and Parole at the courthouse immediately following his hearing, but decided against a pre-sentence evaluation according to Baglcy. In the March 24 hearing, Lowe was ordered to have no contact with his alleged victim, a student. The incident producing the charges was alleged in the summons to have taken place March 12. Lowe, a former teacher of four years at Panguitch High School, taught music to both high school and middle school students. He taught several band classes, a chorus class for seventh and eighth graders, and a ninth-grade computer class. |
