Show Henrieville Helen Willis received word of the death from cancer of her brother Carl Blondin. Bob took her to Reno, Nev. where their daughter JoAnn went with her by plane to South Carolina. When she returned to Las Vegas and Bob went down and brought her home. Donna Osborn took several family members to Salt Lake City where her daughter had an eye appointment. ap-pointment. They also visited in Redmond with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Grundvig have moved to Colorado where he has employment for the summer. Father and sons outing was held at Pine Lake, June 6-7. Visiting at the Ellis Johnson home were Mr. and Mrs. Hilton Birch of Orem. He was in the mission field in San Antonio, Tex. with them. Beverly Thompson and Karen Hoskinson took a group of women and teenagers to Provo for "The Best of Especially for Youth." Rachel Thompson spent a week in Las Vegas with the Tom Reece family. They brought her home and Heather Thompson went with them to Denver. The Reece's son Anthony was competing on the state soccer team. Mr. and Mrs. Kennie Goulding had her daughter Cindy here from Orem. They went to Provo to see daughter Paula receive "Most Valued Player," and ''Most Improved Im-proved Player" awards at Utah Tech. They also visited other family members in Salt Lake City. Also visiting them was LaPreil Olsen of Richfield. Calvin Grundvig was released as Sunday School president. Sandy Johnson was released as Primary second counselor and Nancy Chynoweth was sustained. Sandy Johnson was sustained as a Primary teacher. Teora Willis has the cast off her hand, after having surgery on it some time ago. Dewey and Teora went to Heber and brought their grandchildren, the children of son Cecil home to visit awhile. Mr. and Mrs. Nolan Johnson and family stopped for a visit at his parents, the Thorley Johnsons. Sharon and the children will stay in Overton, Nev. while Nolan attends summer school in Flagstaff, Ariz. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Mortgensen and son were here from Page at her parents, the Eugene Quilters. Traveling north for the wedding of Frankie Moore were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Neilsen, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Foster and family of Bryce, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hatch and family of Panguitch. Visitors here at Lula Moore's for the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Neilson and family of Sunset, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Ferrin and family, Brenda Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Johnson and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Smith of Washington were at the Lee Smiths. Mr. and Mrs. Troy Goulding and family have moved into the Allen Riddle home. Beverly Thompson was the lucky one to receive the cedar chest and handiwork sold by the drill team. |
