Show - Panguitch Patter - Judy Henrie Mr. and Mrs. Ted Owens and two grandchildren of Dallas are spending spen-ding three weeks at a condominium at Brian Head and visiting family members in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Heywood attended at-tended the Hillcrest High School graduation exercises June 5 in Salt Lake City where their granddaughter grand-daughter Anita Giselmayr was among the 500 students who graduated. Visiting recently with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hatch have been their grandson and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Keck and their two sons Ion and Scott from Ashton, Ida. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Willis from Escalante and Mr. and Mrs. Otho Henderson from Huntington. Hun-tington. v Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dalton and family have spent an enjoyable week visiting friends in Fallbrook, Calif, where they went to Disneyland and Sea World. On their return home, they spent some time in Las Vegas with Brace's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dalton. Speakers in the Third Ward sacrament meeting were Marilyn Bulkey, FayElla Prince, Karren Harris, Elaine Mathews and Norma Crompton with two musical numbers num-bers given by Margaret Clark. Michael Thomas, was voted in as a new member in the ward. Todd Henrie has returned home from Southern Utah State College for the summer and will be working with the Forest Service. In the First Ward sacrament meeting the choir presented a special musical number "Onward, Christian Soldiers" with talks by Lishell Jackson, Skip Houston, Frank Richards, Don Ipson, Joan Ipson and Tonya Dalton. The Jack Sopers had their son Korry, Korry's wife Karen and their baby Austin from Salt Lake City visit with them over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Whiteley went to Salt Lake City for her medical checkup and they brought their children home who have been visiting a week with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lex Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. John Whiteley. Jim Yardley and Mr. and Mrs. John Yardley and children went on a family trip to California. They spent a week mostly at Newport Beach. . They also enjoyed two of the Angels baseball games and visiited Disneyland. Tonya Dalton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Dalton, gave her mission report int he Panguitch 2nd Ward sacrament meeting Sunday. She served in the Italian mission.'- Mr. and Mrs. Ercil Henrie are enjoying a house full of family members: Sunny Lee Konold and family from St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown adn two small children from Panaca, Nev. who had a new son, Jonathon Rudy, born June 6 at Garfield Memorial Hospital. Grandma is Sunny Lee. She is also happy to have her daughter Julie who is recovering from surgery released from the University Hospital and staying with her. Maxine and Ercil are thrilled and boasting about their twenty-second great grandchild. Judy Henrie and daughter Laurie Ann are having a wonderful time in beautiful Hawaii. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Henrie, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Simkins, and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hatch made a trip to Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. George Middleton have been home taking care of some of their obligations and visiting with family, relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Prince and son Ryan visited in Pleasant View, Colo, with their daughter Merlene . and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Kim Lanier and their family. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Tebbs have come back to their home in Panguitch for the summer. Their grandson Kirk Nicholes has been visiting with them from Cedar City where he attended SUSC. A group of senior citizens went in the mini-bus to Richfield and did some shopping: Mr. and Mrs. Verd Worthen, Mary Perkins, Leonard Wilcock, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilcock, Inez Wilson, Afton Church and Maxine Crosby. Gai Wilcock spent three days at Hatch visiting and quilting at the Daughters of Utah Pioneers building. Ingra Richards returned home after spending a week in Salt Lake City visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Kay Richards and family. She reported having an enjoyable time. She attended at-tended both seminary and high school graduation exercises for grandson Robert Richards who graduated from Hillcrest Hieh School. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Frandsen had their children home for the weekend; Cindy from Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Danny Frandsen from American Fork. Danny and Tresa also visited in St. George with her grandmother Anna Frandsen who is in the Dixie Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Barney from Manila visited in Panguitch with family and relatives, they attended their daughter Lisa Johnson's graduation exercises from SUSC at Cedar City. Also attending the graduation was Lisa's sister Lousie Fink who came up from Phoenix. Karen Christiansen rode up from Phoenix with Louise and visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Barney |
