Jensen JUNCTION Funeral services for Max Romain Jensen were held Monday in the Circleville First LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Robert O. Anderson, officiating. Derrin Jensen offered the family prayer; prelude and postlude music was by Sherey Roberts and the invocation was by Doug Coates. A tribute was given by Ross Romander and speakers were Kent Coates, Carlos Jessen and Brent Johnson with remarks by Bishop Anderson. Music included piano duet by Rodd and Tina Jensen; vocal solo, Rob Goulding; vocal solo, Howard Horton and two vocal duet numbers by Terecea Westwood and Charleen Dalton. Dan Westwood offered the benediction. Interment was in the Junction Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Leo Coates offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Nuel Anderson, Ricky Dalton, Paul : Hampton, Tony V. Norton, Troy Robinson, Rodney Barnson, Edell Spencer and Carlos Jessen. Honorary pallbearers were Mika Jensen, Eric Jensen, Martin Jensen, Derrin Jensen, Kerry Roberts, Rusty Norton, Randy Norton, Steve . Barnson and Randy Barnson. Julia Christensen Julia Ulena Christensen, 71, Kaysville, died Wednesday, June 4, 1986 in Layton. She was born October 23, 1914 in Escalante, to Lawrence and Isabell Spencer Christensen. She married and later divorced. She had been a licensed practical nurse at Utah Valley Hospital and at Hill Air Froce Base. She was reared in Escalante and had lived in Provo and Layton. She had lived in Kaysville for the past 10 years. She graduated from high school in Escalante. She attended Utah Technical College in Provo where she received her nursing license. She was a member of the Kaysville 15th LDS Ward where she had taught in the Primary, YWMIA and Sunday School. Survivors: son, daughter, Sherill Alvey, Mrs. Gene (Beverly) Garcia, both of Layton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, sister, Lawrence, Layton; Samuel, Clearfield; Rolin, Orem; Mohr and Norman both of Escalante; Nick, Murray; Louis, Provo; and Loynel, and Mrs. Kenneth (Shiralee) Pratt, both of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Saturday at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, Kaysville. Interment was in the Kaysville City cemetery. Dora Clove Dora Ann Justet Clove, 97, Panguitch, died June 8, 1986, in a Panguitch hospital. She was born Nov. 16, 1888, Escalante, to Daniel and Nellie Leithead Justet, Jr. She was married to Neil Ivor Clove, April 15, 1912, Hatch; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 13, 1986. She was active in the LDS Church, serving as gospel doctrine and Primary teacher; active in drama in the MIA and served as a stake Primary leader. She had been a member of ward choirs and sang at many funerals. She was a member of Camp Loyhova Daughters of Utah Pioneers and had been a member of the Rhythm Band in Panguitch. Survivors: daughters, Mrs; Kay (Neilene) Heywood, Mrs. Lyle (Darlene) Sawyer, both Panguitch; 13 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday in the Panguitch Third LDS Ward chapel with Bishop J. Merle Prince, officiating. Lyle Sawyer offered the family prayer; Jackie Reynolds played prelude and postlude music and Bruce Heywood offered the invocation. Tributes were given by Randy Clove, Kathy Geiselmayr and Effel Riggs. Gene Wilson was speaker and remarks we're by Bishop Prince. Music included selection by the combined Hatch and Panguitch Tri-Ward Tri-Ward choirs; ladies trio, Leniece Fischer, Debbie Frandsen and Barbara Heaton and vocal solo by Nelda Fagg. Rick Sawyer offered the benediction. Interment was in th Panguitch City Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Kay Heywood offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Randy Clove, Rick Sawyer, Arlin Sawyer, Kenneth Ken-neth Sawyer, Neil Sawyer, Wayne V. Sawyer, Duane J. Sawyer, Bruce N. Heywood, GFitz Geiselmayr, F. Gary Jacobson, Mark G. Pollock, officiating. of-ficiating. Martin Rich offered the family prayer; Irene McEwen played prelude and postlude music and Robert Steed gave the invocation. Tributes were by Misty Miller and Kimberly Talbot and speakers were Dorothy Houston and Marvell Jones with remarks by Elder Mondell Syrett. Music included selection by the Tropic Ward Choir; selection by grandchildren and selection by Vera Ellen Osguthorpe, Georgia Coons, Melba Gleave and Susan Horn. Sam Steed offered the benediction. Interment was in the Tropic Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Val Rich offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Martin Rich, Kenneth Miller, Douglas Talbot, Blake Gillies, Vance Pollock and Lonnie Pollock. Honorary pallbearers were Brayton Talbot, Ryan Talbot, Prentice Talbot, Mitchell Miller, Mayo Miller, Rusty Rich, Cody Blake Gillies, Travis Ace Gillies, Steve Pollock, Chad Shakespear, Stanley Mecham and Will Richards. |
