Show Proctor Still Hangs Flags After 40 Years Forty years of love for his country has been demonstrated by George Proctor who has faithfully placed flags along the streets of Panguitch each July 4 and Memorial Day since he returned from service in World War II. The patriotic veteran is a member of the American Legion and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He has been dedicated to public service throughout his adult life. He and former Garfield County Com missioner George Middleton are tne only two remaining charter members of the Garfield County Sheriffs Posse, a volunteer group started by Middleton 30 years ago. Proctor has also served on the Garfield County Board for Adjustment. Ad-justment. A faithful member of the LDS Church, he also devotes a great dael of time to volunteer service at the Panguitch Second Ward church farm. i . . . |
