Show Henrieville Mr. and Mrs. Kent Osborn had Mrs. Osborn's parents here for several days from Redmond. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lewis had Mrs. Lewis' son Jim and his wife Velma McDaniel from New Mexico as visitors. Velma stayed to work for the summer. Their children are visiting in California with grandparents. For the holidays, the Irving Roses had Mr. and and Mrs. Tom Kline, West Valley; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose, Orderville and Mr. and Mrs. Dane Boren of Cedar City as guests. At the Olaf Shakespear home were daughter Vickie and her family. They are moving to Murray where Vickie's husband has a job as a state accountant. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Goulding, Delta spent the weekend with the Kenneth Gouldings. Dick is teaching karate in Richfield as well as Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Willis, Heber spent several days with his parents the Dewey Willises. Sarah Christensen and her brother Paul Christensen from Tooele were here at the David Rose home. The Milton Rose family of Murray joined the Kenneth Platts and the Roses in presenting the patriotic program in Hatch earlier in the day on July 4 and here in Henrieville in the evening. The Calvin Grundvig family came from Colorado for the holidays, Lanae and children stayed for a week. Mr. and Mrs. John Clark have their youngest daughter and granddaughter from Hawthorne, Nev. here for a visit. The girls scouts presented the flag raising ceremony under the direction of Sandy Johnson. The July 4th activities were a success. Lots of visitors. Connie Allen took son Bryan Allen to Provo where he entered the LDS Missionary Training Center, July 3. He will serve an LDS mission in Louisiana. Jack Chynoweth had a medical appointment in Salt Lake City so he and wife Mae took his mother Roxie Chynoweth with them. Katie Morton met them and took her to Far-mington Far-mington where she will care for her. Lula Moore received word of a new great - granddaughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Steve Neilson. grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Neilson and great - great -grandmother is Roxie Chynoweth. The parents and new baby live at Sunset. |
