Show ' J A Cynthia Johnson Johnson Named Teacher of Year in Idaho HENRIEVILLE Cynthia Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorley Johnson, Henrieville was recently named Teacher of the Year at Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Ida. where she is in her third year of teaching. In addition to teaching senior psychology and sophomore physical education, she also coaches varsity Softball, junior varsity volleyball and volleyball at Jenifer Junior High School. She was selected as the 1984-85 District II Coach of the Year. Lewiston High School has an enrolment of approximately 1,200 students with 65 faculty members. Ms. Johnson serves on the District substance abuse and control committee com-mittee and the curriculum development committee. This year she was also selected to help organize a peer counselling program called Natural Helpers, a first in Idaho. She is a gradutae of Bryce Valley High School in Tropic and received her bachelors degree in education at Southern Utah State College in Cedar City. She plans to begin work on her masters. |
