Show Henrieville Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Louise) Harrison and family were at her parent's home, the Harry Partners, for several days. Family and friends of Roxie Chynoweth extended her cement sidewalk out so it is easier for her with her walker. It is nice to have all the Irrigation ditches filled in. Bryan White entered the IDS Missionary Training Center in . Provo on Oct. 31 , he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Linda) White and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan (Mary) Johnson of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. David Rose visited at Pioche, Nev. with son Verland and his family. Verland has leased another large ranch, the Blue Diamond, at Eureka, Nev. which is planted to alfalfa. Eugene Quilter took some hay to Page and brought his grandson back to stay while his parents, the Andy Mortensens are in Flagstaff where Andy took some training. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Willis had Helen's brother- Bob and his wife here from California for a visit. The young people from here went with Bishop Tom Shakespear to the St. George LDS temple for baptism. Shanna Goulding from St. George visited in town. The Jim Smith family presented the program Sunday, son Jim and his family helped them. A court of honor for the scouts was held with all of the courts receiving badges. Family members visiting at the Amon Barker home are son Shane and family. (He is now stationed in Colorado); Edith's parents, the Ixster Mclnelly's of Salt Lake City and her sister La Ronce. Berthene Griffin spent several days in Escalante tending grandchildren while the Wadfi, Barneys went hunting in Wayne County. JoAnn Goulding took a load of young girls to gymnastics at Cedar City. |
