Show Avera Mont a cue Avera Montague ANTIMONY Avera Warner Montague, 81, Salt Lake City, died Oct. 27, 1983, in Antimony. She was born Sept. 29, 1904, to Robert Orange and Eva Clare King , Warner. She was married to George Ivan Montague, Sept. 11, 1922, Junction; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Jan. 2, 1951. She was active in the LDS Church auxiliaries. Survivors: sons, daughters, Cecil, Calvin, Mrs. Kirk (Maurine) Johnson, Mrs. Jim (Maribeth) Garbor, Mrs. Don (Margaret "Peggie") Barr, all Salt Lake City; Corlos, Antimony; Mrs. Gerald (Margery) Riga, Boise, Ida.; Mrs. Larry (Madeline) Peterson, Bountiful; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Milo, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Antimony Ward chapel with Bishop Jerald K. Savage, officiating. Cecil Montague offered the family prayer; Betty Wiley played prelude and postlude music and Rulon Torgerson gave the invocation. Speakers were Fred Linford, LaMaun Sorensen and Randall Roberts, with remarks by Bishop Savage. Music included vocal solo by Burns Black; vocal solo by Leland Robinson and selections by the Antimony Ward Choir. Robert O. Warner offered the benediction. Interment was in the Antimony Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Earl Roe offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Corlas Montauge, Brent Montague, Randy Nlelson, Roger Montague, Donald Johnson, Michael Mcintosh, Bret Riga and Ivan Parr. |
