Mazel Llttlefield spent the deer hunt weekend with the Norman Littlefields. Ella Adair and Margaret Mccham attended a meeting for senior citizen council members in Cedar City Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Robyn) Barton are the parents of a baby boy born Oct. 26 In Pangultch. Beatrice Barton is the proud grandmother. Peggy Palmer and Jeannene Pollock were in St. George for Sunny to have a medical appointment. They visited grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Del (Delores) Campbell while there. Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Erma) Wintch have a new car. Kristy Talbot entertained several guests at a home interior party. Tropic, Cannonville and Henrlevllle combined talents and had a Halloween party at the Tropic ward for the young people of their communities as a special MIA activity. Members of the Junior class are sponsoring a Halloween carnival Halloween night. The annual carnival for children will be held at the school at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Bob R. Sudweeks had a surprise birthday party at his parents' home, Oct. 24. The Relief Society will have a special homemaking meeting Tuesday, Nov. 5. Kathleen Pollock is holding a tole painting class In the scout house. Anyone Interested in. joining the class may contact her at her home. The Kent Wintches have had her grandchildren visiting with them this week, while their father Kenny has been ill. Kay Brook attended the Utah Education Association House of i v Delegates meeting In Salt Lake City, representing the garficld County Educators. She also took a group of FHA girls to a state meeting during the weekend. Susan Syrett spent the weekend at home. Maureen Mangum and daughter Missy and Carol Stewart and daughter Bonnie epent a week in California visiting with Carol's mother. Kay Mangum took members of the priests quorum to Provo Friday, to visit the Missionary Training Center and on to Salt Lake City to see the Jazz play basketball. Dean Shakcspear Is visiting with Marina Shakcspear. Mary Lee Ramsay had two sisters visit with her during the week from OrderviUe. A missionary farewell was held in sacrament meeting for BUI Stout. Speakers were Justin Baugh, Chcrie Syrett, Kay Mangum and Bill Stout. A special musical number was given by Ronnie Llttlefield. Mark LeFevre, son of Mr. and '; .S. Mrs. Reed LeFevre, has received an LDS mission call to the Spokane, Wash, mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center, Jan. 9. LDS Stake conference will be held in Escalante Nov. 9 and 10. |
