Show Bryce VIP Program Honors Citizens TROPIC VIP, a new program at Bryce Valley School is expected to enhance communications between the school and the communities it serves. Each month five people will be selected to be MP's (Very Important Persons) by the school-community planning team. The team will attempt to select individuals representing a cross section of the communities whose children attend the school From the three Bryce Valley " communities: Tropic, Cannonville, and Henrieville and the Bryce Canyon area, the team will try to select a businessman, parent or grandparent, town board member, and senior citizen. They will be invited to spend an entire day at the school, to tour the building, visit classes, talk to students and teachers, and see what Bryce Valley School is all about. Wednesday, February 24 was kick-off day for the VIP project, with ' Virginia Johnson, Henrieville, and Margaret Shakespear, Tropic, chosen as the first VIP's. |
