Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair There have been several new babies born this past week, The Royal Alveys have a new grandson born to Kim and Carolyn Alvey; the Leland Pollocks have a granddaughter born to daughter Lydia and husband in Richfield; a grandson born to daughter, Lela Rae and husband in Orderville; the Lester Clarkes have a granddaughter born to daughter, April and Rick Evans in Provo; the Virgil Pollocks have a granddaughter born to daughter Marie and husband in Kanab. Vera Whitley, Lake Shore, visited the Reginald Stewart family. Orvilla Shakespare has been a patient in the hospital in Panguitch for the past week. Lucy Shakespear suffered a stroke and is in the hospital in St. George. The MIA Maids and their mothers enjoyed a special evening together at the stake center in Escalante. A special film vas shown to the members of the Relief Society. Maureen Mangum was the commentator for it. Members of the Bryce Valley seminary classes put on the program Sunday. Kelly and Birch Moore visited with the Mateland Baugh family. Greg Richards spent a few days with his family. Ora Brinkerhoff, Glen-na Pollock and Amplus LeFevre were in Cedar City. While there they visited with Gaya Greenhaugh and family and Ora's daughter Rose and husband. Ruth Mae and Keith Hamby spent the weekend in Tropic with Alstron Shakespear and visited with Orville Shakespear in Panguitch Hospital. Kay and Maureen Mangum made a trip to Washington to bring Luella Mangum home. Ferriland and Orlan Ruesch visited with daughter Renone Bybee and family. Bob Jo Ott and sons spent the weekend helping with the cattle. Bart and Peggy Palmer were to the Alton Pollocks. Richie and Robin Barton have moved to Price where he has employment. Paul Mangum spent a few days at Zion Park getting his horse trail business ready for summer rides. The Gene Chynoweths were in Las Vegas visiting with daughter Renone and family. Evan and . Judy Chynoweth spent a week in Oregon while Evan attended lumber company business meetings. |
