Show Panguitch Fatter Mary Cherrlngton's daughter, Mary Zane, took her mother back to Murray for a little "Spring Vacation". The Relief Society birthday commemoration celebration was held March 18 for all three wards in Panguitch at the stake center. A dinner and a program were presented for Relief Society members and their husbands. Pearl and Ronald Rowley and Dorothy and George Rowley of Parowan were visitors at the homes of Bill and Sara Worthen and Mat and Hazel Houston this past week. Earl Marshall received a birthday greeting from the White House the other day with this message: "Nancy and I Join your family and friends in sending congratulations as you celebrate your birthday. We hope today is filled with special joy and that Uie coming year d rings you every happiness." It was signed Ronald Reagan. Kenneth Ahlstrom is herewith his folks, Alfred and Opal Hatch. A board meeting of the Panguitch Chamber of Comrrierce was held March 19 at the Country Corner Cafe with nine members present. David Houston, son of Dee and Dorothy Houston, has gone to Washington D.C. where he will be working with his boss for President Reagan. His wife, Caroll, will remain in Las Vegas until she completes the sale of their home. Visiting at the homes of Donna Johnson and Alta Orton last week were Donna's daughter, Debbie, and her husband, Jim Robson from Kanab. Also Donna's son, Carl Johnson, who is going to school in Provo. John and Mary Seaman, went to St. George to bank meetings. |
