Show Cancer Drive Louise Englestead, Panguitch, will serve as Garfield County chair- . t i - person ior inis year s American Cancer Society's Cancer Crusade which begins April 1 and runs through April 30. Community chairmen for each community in the county are currently ' being selected to assist her. They will map out each area and block workers will then call on each home in the county for contributions. One of the features of the crusade is the Memorial Program, an on-going program of the American Cancer Society. A memorial gift to the Society is counted as a living gift where a tribute to someone loved means others are helped. Many individuals, organizations, firms and other groups practice memorial giving regularly. Their gifts support an increasingly large proportion of the Society's programs of research, education, and service. Every gift provides material aid to the cancer research program in laboratories and hospitals across the nation, Donations also help educate the public to the Importance of detecting cencer In time and support service programs for cancer patients and their families. Every contribution is acknowledged with an official receipt to the donor and is deductible for tax purposes. |
