Newly contracted BRYCE CANYON For the first time in almost a year, Bryce Canyon Airport's aviation fuel tanks are full, and, with new management, the facility is prepared to handle the coming tourist season's air traffic. Alfred Foster, Jr., owner of Foster's 66 near Bryce Canyon, has signed a contract with the county to provide fuel at the popular airport only a few miles from Bryce Canyon National Park. Foster agreed to terms of the contract which stipulate that failure to keep gasoline available at the airport for more than 30 days would constitute default. He will pay the county five cents per gallon on all fuel sold. He agreed to maintain the restrooms, runway, marker lights, beacon light, telephone, and to be responsible for snow removal with equipment provided by the county.
