Show Antimony Diane Anderson 624-3230 Antimony Ward Relief Society held their annual March 17 dinner dance and bazaar to celebrate the Relief Society's birthday and to raise funds for the stake building fund last Friday evening March 18. Turkey dinner was served and after a small program bazaar items were sold. The Peterson Orchestra from Wayne County provided music for a dance held later that evening. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cleave received word that their nephew, Dr. Andy Sargent of Riverside, Calif, just passed away with a heart attack. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cleave were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Hiatt and Lester Stoker of Richfield, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Roberts of Annabella, and Mr. and Mrs. Wes Blake of Richfield. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Jensen attended the old folks party held in Koosharem. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jolley were Will Jolley and Connie Ricks both attending school at SUSC. Bruce Riddle of Richfield spent the weekend in Antimony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Savage. Trudy Savage of Cedar City was home visiting her mother, Mrs Arlene Savage. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bums Black included Greg Black, Dennis Cowgen, Bill Reese and Barbara Padru all attending BYU in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Black attended the wedding reception of a niece in Salt Lake City. Guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene King last week were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce King of Logan, Claudia King of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Mark King of Richfield and Mr. and Mrs. Tom King who recently gave birth to a new baby daughter. Visitors at the Theron Coon home in Angle were Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Blood of Salt Lake City. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Mary Jolley were Will Jolley and Connie Ricks of Cedar City, and the Steve Kimball family from Selah, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Neils Ipson and family spent last week in Ogden where Mr. Ipson attended the 25th Fireman's Reunion and where Mr. Ipson was honored as one of the charter members. They stayed with Mr. and Mrs. Bevan Ipson. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Afton Blood were Mr. and Mrs. Layne Blood of Cedar City, Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Blood of Gunnison and Camee Blood of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Afton Blood went to Gunnison last Sunday to celebrate the first birthday of their grandson, Brett Blood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Blood. |
