Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair C79-8M8 The Loral Bartons were in St. George for their granddaughter's birthday. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Torres. The Ray Littlefields enjoyed a visit from their friends, the Rowleys, from Huntington. Arvilla Shakespear was a patient in the hospital this past week. Koye Mecham also received medical care In the hospital in Cedar City. Dorothy Shakespear Winv mer, and three children, from Rifle, Colo., spent a few days visiting with the Owen and Harmon Shakes pears. Lacey Mangum and Trevor Jolley celebrated their first birthdays Sunday. The parents had a party for them at the Jolley home. The children In the Primary presented a special program in sacrament meeting Sunday. Maureen Mangum was the narrator. A special Glaucoma Clinic will be held Friday, March 25, from 3 to S p.m. in the church cultural hall. Anyone over 33 yrs. of age may attend this free clinic. Esther Shakespear and finance' were home over the weekend. Kathy Ott had a friend home from college with her. Debi Mecham and Sandrea Francisco were ;Jso home. The Bryce Valley faculty members and partners enjoyed a faculty party at the Henry JoHey home Friday night. Next Sunday will be fftM meeting, due to general conference the followifig week. Malefl and Stan Mecham, Flora LeFevre and Layne LeFevre attended the St. George IDS Temple Friday. April 9 will be Stake Farm day. Mr. and Mrs. John Redford, Granger spent the weekend with their daughter Margaret Mecham and family. The District Governor will make his visit to the Bryce Lions Club Saturday night at Ruby's Inn. All Lions and partners are Invited to attend. Larry and Pat Smith visited with the Earl and Henry Jolleys. Susie Thomas Is enjoying a visit from her parents this week. Ben and RaNae Riddle and daughter visited with Ruth Baugh. Kevan Shakespear is out of the Air Force and has moved back to Tropic. Claudia and Kim Niemann were in Parowan. Jimmy Dale Ott was in town over the weekend. The men spent the weekend gathering cattle and moving them on the winter range. Ed and Dorothy Littlefield and daughter have moved back to Tropic. Ed will be the chef at the Pink Cliff Cafe. Kay and Maureen Manglu, and MonDell and Florence Syrett were in Salt Lake City on business. |
