Show PHS Student Named USU Top Senior A Panguitcn girl was selected as Utah State University's outstanding high school senior in Utah for her outstanding characteristic of service and dedication in her daily interaction with her fellow students and community. Martha Riggs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Riggs, Panguitch was selected by the association that is made up of students of USU which deals with studentbody and education. "It is a pleasure to honor students who are attempting to develop themselves to greater potential" she was told. She is very active in the school, and church functions within the community. She plays for chorus, has a beautiful singing voice, plays in the Panguitch High School Recorders group, and gives readings throughout the community activities, and accompanies the Panguitch High School girls sextette. She is a seminary officer, Panguitch High School studentbody historian and works two hours a day in the school board office. She is active in the LDS church where she is ward organist and APMIA president of Laurels. Martha Riggs |
