Show - Henrieville - Metba D. Smith 679-8572 Snow came on Thursday, however, during the night it became a wet and heavy snow that took power and telephone lines out. We were without power for about 14 hours. Edith Barker went to Salt Lake City to meet son, Shane and bring him home for a leave from his army base in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. They met another son Mike Barker and visited him prior to his leaving that day for Denmark for two years. Roxie Chynoweth went north to visit Virgil and Nelda Jolley. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Earl Jolley, La Mar Feltner' arid Bobby Joe .Ott,?RadKBy''ptt and three boys accompanied Bobby Joe7 Aaron Sexton was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church. He is a foster child of Guy and Bev Thompson. Roland Damon Johnson was graduated from Primary and sustained to be ordained a Deacon in the Priesthood. Jeff Johnson was home. Kim and baby son went back to Spanish Fork with him where Jeff will work. Mary Lou Neilson was taken to the Panguitch Hospital Friday where she is a patient there. Several attended the ballgame in Orderville. Rick Willis visited his parents, Oscar and Jean Willis. Walt and Flora Leibenguth visited relatives here. Shelley Barney and baby from Escalante visited Leland and Berthene Griffin. Paul and Keela Mangum, Stanm and Koye Mecham visited Elmo and Iris Bushnell and helped with the program in sacrament meeting. It was under the direction of Iria and Elmo and the grandchildren helped them out. Iris conducted. Talks were given by Taun Mangum, Clint and Quint Mecham and Elmo Bushnell. A piano solo by Crystal Mangum and an organ selection by Debbie Mecham. |
