Show P-TA Talent Night Plans Readied for Late March , Talent night with a patriotic theme organized by Irene McEwen was discussed at the last Panguitch-Hatch Secondary PTA board meeting. The program which will be held the last part of March will consist of music, dancing, speaking, and many other talents presented by the schools, community, faculty, different churches of the area or anyone willing to share their talents. Bleachers will be placed in the Panguitch High School football field. The lumber was donated by Kaibab. The Forest Service has donated the pipe and Iron, Frank Harding will do the welding needed. Wtather permitting, the bleachers will be up in time for the track season. The next general PTA meeting will be held March 4. The Panguitch High School band will play, the music group will sing and the Bobettes will march. Mrs. Don (Marie) Uston will present some of the new programs that are in the school this year presented by the teachers in charge. Also on the agenda will be the setting up of the PTA scholarships which will be presented to one boy and one girl to be used at either a college cr a trade tech. Nominations for the new officers for the coming year will 4 be held and the general membership will be voting rather to stay affiliated with the national PTA or organize our own local parent teacher organization. |
