Show Cannonvllle Betty Henderson C7985t2 Little Michelle Jenson came from Springville to have a tonsilectomy, the very first one in the new hospital at Panguitch. Michelle and her mother Sharon will be spending a few days with grandparents, Melda and Sherman Davis. On Sunday Cal and Carol Burroughs of Kanab were at the Sherman Davis' for dinner. During the day Larry Davis called from Alaska where he is working on the pipeline. Alta Henderson went home with her son Wayne to spend a couple of weeks with him at Big Bear Lake, Calif. She plans on visiting her sister, Gretta Tubbs at Newport Beach, Calif, for a few days. Joe and Rae Hughes left early Monday morning to go Elk hunting. Craig Twitchell Is at home recuperating from back surgery. ..... Mae and Vaughn Twitchell and daughters went to Salt Lake City for the blessing of their new grandson. Elaine Reynolds, St. George and Wayne and Barbara Reynolds, Henrivlile visited Bea and Lark Reynolds on Sunday. Lynn and Joyce Lowther of Cambers Australia was at Bryce Canyon last week and called their friend Nick Reynolds. Nick, Bea, Susan and Cliff met them for a nice visit. Alma Fletcher has been home for the weekend. He has been working at Duchesne. A special priesthood meeting will be held on Saturday evening at the Tropic Ward The message from the Conference in Salt Lake City will be piped into the chapel. Jim Elmer and family visited Ira and Julia Elmer. Tuesday evening an outdoor movie was shown at Kodachrome Basin for the young ladies of the ward. Elva and Marion Clark went to St. George for two days of missionary meetings. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Duttons, Ftedonia, brought a load of wood to the Kendall Duttons. The Kendall Dutton family gathered at Kodachrome Basin for a picnic. Mandy and Ariel Fletcher ' went to Cedar City to the doctor. Melvin Henderson went to Cedar City on business. Elmer and Betty went with him and did some shopping. Food for thought: Hardening of the heart ages people more rapidly than hardening of the arteries. |
