Show U.S. FOREST SERVICE NEWS March Blows Hot And Cold -Weather Varies From Balmy To Blizzard This last reporting period gave us a preview to spring with high temperatures in the 50's going to 60 on Monday, the 22nd, then winter returned " on the 23rd bringing wind and , lots of snow and chilling tem-peratures. Total precipitation for this storm was .77 of an inch of precipitation, for a total of 1.36 of an inch of precip-itation for the month of March. A low of 1 was recorded on Thursday morning, the 25th. Tuesday, Herb Stoker had the road to Panguitch Lake . completely open, facilitating i the movement of trucks into that area where the crew was marking timber. Now they have gone into cold storage a-waiting the arrival of trees from the Forest Service nursery in Idaho. No, it's not a TV antenna it is the radio tower for our radio system on top of the building. Tliis last week our base station was moved from the old office to our present location. This change will greatly improve radio transmission and reception.
