Show TROPIC TOPICS ELLA ADAIR Tryouts were held for the senior play cast. The play, "A Hillbilly Wedding", will bo presented In April under the direction of Mrs. Ella Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Llttlcfleld of Henderson, Nevada spent the weekend at the Horace Hall Home. Mr. and Mrs. Bernell Twit-chell and sons were weekend visitors in town. Home from college for tho weekend were Nancy Mecham, Lloyd Ott, Max Stewart, Glen Jolley, Bob and Mondell Sy rette Florence Shakespear and the Kenneth Adalrs spent the week end with tho Royal Alveys. Evadean Francisco had her mother as a visitor last week. The Rett Shakespears and small son spent the weekend at the E. R. Shakespears. The Stake Farm Day will be March 27th for all ward priesthood members. Beehive girls participated In their annual stake play Tuesday night in the high school. Mr. and Mrs. John Mecham have their small grandson visiting with them. Suzann Wintch visited with her parents over the weekend. The speakers in church Sunday were Max Stewart, Lloyd Ott and Bishop Bybee. Having birthdays last week were Pat Smith, Flora LeFe-vre and Ethel Hatch. Vernon Hatch and his son Cornell and wife visited with the John Hatchs Saturday. Jenny LeFevre was in Salt Lake on business last week. Dar Smith attended a UEA meeting at Salt Lake this past weekend. Ora Brlnkerhoff had a few friends in for a quilting this past week. Joe Allen was in Salt Lake on business last week; Glade Stewart taught seminary for him while he was gone. The Oris Murdock family of Chicago spent a few days with the Wallace Otts and are now with his parents in Salt Lake before going home. Margene Stapleman has completed her student teaching and has returned to BYU. A temple excursion was held last Saturday to St, George. The temperature took a drop and most of us had to fire up the stove to keep warm. As a result, more colds and flu. The Owen Shakespears were in town Saturday. Viola Marshall is home after spending the winter in Kan-ab. Amplus LeFevre is visiting in Salt Lake with her son Kenneth and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ahl-strom of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rasmusson of Or-em, the Shannon Bybees, the Jack Millers, the Warren Lo-sees, the Al Nortons, the Leo Bartons, Mary Cox, Mrs.-Ross Heaton, and Sylvia Kirkland were here for the funeral services of Freda Young. |
