photographing the mirage the photograph represented a palm grove a lake and a caravan of laden camels and white robed arabs moving moning in stately wise across the pale desert that Is a picture ot of a mirage or ata fata morgana said the traveler I 1 took it in the sahara not tar far froin tom there was really nothing there but sand wastes on wastes of sand but my dazzled eyes saw that mirage and my camera saw it too this Is the only mirage picture I 1 hane hav ever got I 1 have tried in ln ceylon in to egypt and in morocco to photograph various mirages but always in vain there are scarcely six mirage photos in existence
