Its an easy, quick and fun way to add a touch of whimsy to the years warmest and most delicious holiday. Best of all, you can call in your little pilgrims to help dress up these creations. A little supervision and a bag of frozen roll dough from the grocery store is about all it takes. No need to peck and scratch around the kitchen half the day to prepare these tasty rolls. With the help of some decorative nuts and a few seeds everyone will be smelling yeasty, edible works of art in no time. Then sit back and let the family gobble up these yummy, fine-feather- fowls. And ah, the aroma of hot rolls! Everyones favorite feast of turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, candied yams and pumpkin pie simply demands freshly-bake- d rolls. Why not make yours something special this year? The same bag of frozen roll dough can be used to make beautiful cloverleaf, swirl or traditional butte rflake rolls. With a pair of scissors, a little flour and some melted butter, you can easily shape thawed dough into mouth-waterin- g temptations. And, after a delicious meal, expect everyone to wattle" away with nary a crust left. Photos courtesy Rhodes TEffilS TURKEY OUEH-RMSE- D Rhodes Texas White , Pretzel Sticks, Almonds, Sliced Almonds, Slivered Almonds, Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds, Caraway Seeds, Pecans, Pepper Corns, Coarse Ground Salt or Rosemary or Wheat Rolls, thawed by still cold 1 Egy, Beaten With Bake-N-Ser- v H&hiOOfS, cut a roll in half using a little flour to prevent sticking. With one half, flatten and place cut side down on a large, sprayed cookie sheet. This will be the body. Cut a narrow piece out of the remaining half to be used as a head and neck. Flatten large piece slightly and cut about ten long slits to form feathers. Place next to body. Roll narrow piece into a rope shape and place on other side of body forming a slight curve. Cut head piece on an angle and pull down against neck to form a wattle. Brush with beaten Place egg. peppercorn on head for eye and use a slivered almond for a beak. Decorate body and tail with seeds and nuts as desired. Allow to rise slightly (15 minutes). Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until golden brown. After baking, press pretzels in roll for legs. For a larger turkey, use two Texas rolls. CLOVERLEAF ROLLS Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold Flour Soft Butter or Margarine Squeeze With scissors or knife, cut rolls in half. Coat muffin tin with cooking spray and place three non-stic- k halves in each muffin tin cup. If desired, roll balls in flour first. Squeeze butter or vegetable between roll halves, in spread if desired. Cover with plastic wrap coated with non-stic- k spray, and allow to rise until double in size. Remove wrap and bake at 350F for 15 to 20 minutes.
