Labor Day, first frost, first snow. . . its anyones guess andor designation. Reality demonstrates that the season does not end, it just shifts gears slightly. The number of available houses declines in winter, but buyers are more serious! People buy houses 365 days a year, including Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day any and every day of the week. in & year out Reducing the competition is a good strategy in any competitive business, and a smart seller will not overlook that advantage! Putting a house on the market at this time of year, or choosing to stay on the market, can position a house favorably. Never will your house look more fes- tive, or have more wonderful aromas wafting around than it will as we approach the holidays. It can create excitement for a buyer who can see how you celebrate the best time of the year.
