Show obituaries CENTERVILLE Rose Jager Ash, 81, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister Nola Gay Webb Nola Gay Goodfellow Webb, valiant wife, mother, sister, and fii Cancer Society and the Republican passed away at her g member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, she served in many position at both die ward and stake levels. She also served a mission in Japan, the Northern Far East Party. A home Logan November 11, 1995, of causes related to cancer. A of daughter Clifford Brown and Leah Hogg Goodfellow, she was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, life-lon- Mission, from 1961 to 1963. She is survived by her husband and three children: a daughter, Kristie (Christopher) Egbert, Phoenix, AZ; a December 1, 1938. She married Joseph Keith Webb October 9, 1969, in Bountiful, Utah The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, January 15, 1971. Nola graduated from Bountiful High School and attended Brigham Young University. She had a great love for learning and continued to pursue know ledge throughout her life. Nolas greatest treasure was her three children. She loved to read, and was a member of the No Name Book Club. Sire also enjoyed travel, being with family and friends, seeking out the beauties of nature and peaceful music. Nola enjoyed working for thirteen years at Mountain Bell in Salt Lake City and Logan. She was very active in volunteer work with the PTA, the American son, Michael Keith and daughter, Kimberly Ann, both of Logan, UT. She has two brothers and three sisters: Norman H. (Dora Mae) Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, noon in the Logan 28th Ward Chapel, 1450 E 1500 N., Logan; Bishop Jeffrey R. Burbank, conducting. The family will also meet friends and family members on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 6-- 8 p.m. at the Allan Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street, Logan and from 10:30-- 1 1 :30 am. at the 28th Ward. Burial, Logan 1995. He was bom June 10, 1910 in Farmington to Calvin and Ruth Hess Sessions. At the age of three the family moved to Marian, Idaho the Farmington 14th LDS Ward. He loved life, family the work of the fields, farms, outdoors and blessed others with his sense of humor. Survived by his wife of Farmington, four daughters and three sons: Hazel (Paul) Willard, Kaysville; Patty (Jerry) Hartley, Kaysville; Judy (Duane) Porter, Sandy; Neal (Liz), Layton; Zola Barber, Farmington; Dean, Heybum, Idaho; and Lynn (Melanie), Island Park, Idaho He is also survived by his sister, Doris (William) Rigby of North where they resided for five years, returning to Farmington. He married Maggie Alene Elison, September 1 1, 1933. They raised their family in Farmington where he owned Milts Market with his Store at Your Door market truck which operated between North Farmington and Centerville. He was a volunteer fireman, livestock dealers cattleman, farmer. He attended the AC (Agricultural College) in Logan, and was a member of the Davis County Sheriffs Posse. He was a member of Farmington, 31 grandchildren 33 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Memorial Rock Chapel, 272 North Main, Farmington at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 15. He married LaVerne Johnson, July 21, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He has resided in Bountiful, Utah for the last 40 years. He was very active in athletics at Davis High and was selected as an All State athlete. He served his country during WWII, was a graduate of OCS, and retired as a Major in the US Army. He worked at Bennetts Glass and Paint for over 40 years. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served diligently in several leadership positions, including, Bishop and High Councilman. There was nothing he loved more than serving and enjoying time with his family and friends. NORTH SALT LAKE Louise Gibbs, age 71, died Nov. 10, 1995 at LDS Hospital. Louise was born April 25, 1924 in San Bemadino, Calif. She was the old- retired in 1978. Active in tKe LDS Church; held many positions. Loved her family; enjoyed luncheons and projects with her sisters. Her grandson, Shane, was her joy. They did many things together. Preceded in death by her daughter, Linda and her brother, Harry Jager. 6-- 8 Elmer W. Culley. She spent most of her childhood in the Oakley-BurleIdaho area. She married her childhood friend Robert W. Halpin Sr. on Aug. 31, 1942. They had five children and spent the majority of their 23 years in Pocatello, Idaho. Divorce preceded her move to North Salt Lake in 1965. She met and married Leo Delos Gibbs in 1967. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 26, 1970, and together they have nurtured seven children, 31 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Louise was known for her compassionate heart and her never empty cookie jar. She gave of herself right g the con up to her death, Sharon Wheeler and grandson Shane M.
