Show Progressive High Five was the main issue of the evening, in which Mr3. R. A. Broadhurst won first and Harrv Ericksen the booby pVize. Besides cards, plenty of music, other games and dancing danc-ing were enjoved. Miss Hilda Madsen was responsible for a pleasant evening for the 0. N 0. I girls at her home Thursday evening, i Sewing was the pastime enjoyed after I which an excellent two course luncheon was served. Miss Meda Carter was a special guest. The Sororiety girls were entertained last Wednesday evening at the home of Miss Vern Seely. Games, music and delicious refreshments were enjoyed. This was the last meeting of the season for the club. Mrs. L. P. Madsen entertained the O. S. A. Sewing club at her home last Wednesday afternoon. The usual Kensington Ken-sington order was followed. The dancing party at the Opera House Monday night under the auspices of the B. Y. U. orchestra was a splendid one. Excellent music was furnished and thoroughly enjoyed by the large crowd present. Mrs. John H. Nicholson entertained at an elaborate wedding dinner and reception re-ception at her home last Wednesday evening in honor of the marriage of her daughter, Schrelda and Irvin SUnsfield. The ceremony was performed at the home in the presence of thejguests who were the members of the contracting party. H. C. Jacobs officiated. Following Fol-lowing the ceremony, an excellent dinner din-ner was served, after which music and general conversation were enjoyed. The Mt. Pleasant band furnished some splendid numbers during the evening. The bride was beautifully gowned in a soft light blue silk, and her bridesmaid, Annis Rolph, wore pink messaline. Vern Gunderson acted as best man to the groom. Mrs. H. LeRoy Nielson was hostess at an informal luncheon at her home Monday afternoon. Mrs. John Carter entertained the O. S. A. Sewing club Wednesday afternoon of last week. Billy Hansen was a visitor in Moroni on Sunday. ' Andrew Lassen was a business visitor in Mount Pleasant Monday. A number of Mt. Pleasant people attended at-tended the dance at Ephraim Saturday night. Miss Susie Burton departed Saturday for Salt Lake City to remain indefinite, ly. The district school at Indianola opened on Monday of this week, with Miss Mable Sorensen in charge. Miss Carrie Anderson returned from Provo Saturday where she has been visiting for the past two weeks. |
