Show A JOINT RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN A-MENDMENT A-MENDMENT TO SECTION 9. ARTICLE VI. OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE ; OF UTAH. RELATING TO THE COMPENSA- I TION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE. LEGIS-LATURE. Be it enacted by the Legislature of -the State of Utah, two-thirds of all the members elected to each of the two house concurring: therein: j Section 1. That it ia proposed to amend Section 9. Article VI. of the Constitution of Utah, so that I the same will read as follows: j 9. Until otherwise provided by law. the mem- j bers of the Legislature shall receive Eight dollars ($.K.00) per day and ten cents per mile for the dis- Uince iieceaearily traveled going to and returning j from the place of meeting on the most usual route, andinhull receive no other pay or perquisite. Sec. 2. The Secretary of State is hereby direct-i ed tosuhmil this proposed amendment to the e-lectors e-lectors of the State at the next general election in ' the manner provided by law. 1 I Section 3.
