Show A JOINT RESOLUTION PROVIDING AN A MENDMENT TO SECTION 11. ARTICLE 13, OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF UTAH. RELATING TO STATE AND COUNTY BOARDS OF EQUALIZATION. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah, two-thirds of all of the members elected to each of the two houses concurring therein: Section 1. That it is proposed to amend Section 11, Article 13, of the Constitution of the State of Utah, so that the same will read aa follows: 11. Until otherwise provided by law, there shall be a State Board of Equalization consisting of four residents of the State who shall be appointed by the Governor, by and with the consent of the Senate, whose terms of office shall be four years and until their successoi s are appointed and qualified; quali-fied; provided , that two of said members shall be appointed every two years. There shall al-o be in each county of the State a County Board of Equalization, Equa-lization, consisting of the Board of County Commissioners Com-missioners of said county. The duty of the State Board of Equalization and of the several County Boards of Equalization shall be to adjust and e-qualize e-qualize the valuation of the real and personal , property of the State and of the several counties thereof , as may be provided by law. Each Board shall also perform such otherduties as may be provided by law. Section 2. She Secretary of State is hereby directed di-rected to submit this proposed amendment to the the electors of the State at the next general election elec-tion in the manner provided by law- Seetion 3. If adopted by the electors of the State, this amendment shall take effect January 1st. 1913. State of Utah, Office of the Secretary of State, as. I, Charles S.
