We offer excellent prices on our skis, Bench said. Dynastar is almost as popular as Rossignol and Pres are good skis. Retail price for the boot is $265. Pedersens ' also sells bindings, ski poles and . ski apparel. Bench estimates the stores sales in wintertime is at least 50 percent in the ski de- s partment. Pedersens has a ski shop in the back and handles mounting, tune-uphot wax and binding. We do all our work by hand so we think we can turn out some good, quality work, he said. According to Ms. Miller, the Dynastar ski is becoming very popular and will be a top seller in her department'. The relative high cost of the ski doesnt seem to bother customers, Ms. Miller said. Compared to everything else, skis havent gone up that ;much when you think they last up to 10 years, she said. Another new item which arrived last week is the Lange ski boot featuring a guaranteed machine perfect fit. The buyer tells 'The clerk the size and then a special machine is plugged into the' r-- boot which custom fits it to the wearers foot. i'- These boots are really competitive with other lines and they last a long time, Ms. Miller said.
