A most beautiful and befitting lesson for this time of year was given by Joyce Larsen last livWednesday in the spiritual ing class. I hope no one will be offended by my mentioning this . in the paper because I so wanted to give for all to read the idea brought out by this lesson of how, although we celebrate Christmas traditionally, how little we actually understand and are grateful enough for this gift from our father. The sacrifice of his only begotten son was given us in full realization of the life and death plan he would fullfill. They plan a wedding date of April 2. The second engagement is of none other but our eligible bacheolor Paul Jensen who has finally bit the dust. He said I would never be able to have his name in the paper concerning a marriage but alas like most handsome young lads they always get snagged sooner or later. Paul ioses and I do get his part in the news. He is engaged to Danene Robinson of Hyrum and they plan a February wedding. Just an added note about Pauls vanity. He came all the way from Logan to have Ralph Wyatt cut his hair so he could then go back to Logan and have his pictures taken. Well we are happy for you Paul. Now Arietta and Delbert will have all their children married off. Wow, I wonder what that would be like. Sporting a new cast for the holiday season is Carol Sorenson. The Sorensons were out snowmobiling when Carol had a chip off from her bone taken by the snowmobile. At first there was no cast put on but after a week her foot became worse and so the cast was added. Now Carol lays around the house, giving up her job for now, and the doctor says her Christmas present will be hopefully, a cast removal. In the meantime Dewey will be doing the shopping and getting everything ready for Christmas. At first everyone thought their. own heater had gone on the blink, but after comparing notes, and with that many breaking, some thing had to e happening. There was increased pressure in the water line due to the filling of the reservoir. The pump pumping the water in was supposed to turn off automatically, but failed to do so.
