In Brigham City Art show opens at gallery, 'Friend' named The Brigham City museum-galler- y opened its December show and the gallery Christmas season, Saturday, Dec. 6, at a festive reception honoring exhibiting artists, according to Delone Glover chairman of the gallery board, and Phyllis Owen, director. Artist E. Lynn Hone, Brigham City, was on hand to greet guests who came to enjoy his one-ma- n show of paintings, pottery, and sculpture. Hone, a teacher at the Box Elder High, is known throughout the state for his technique in abstract art and watercolor landscapes. His pottery includes mugs, flower planters, hanging planters, dinner sets, bean pots, and many varied each vases and containers original in color, shape and design. The Collectors Corner features treasures of the Elder Boyd K. Packer family. Elder Packer is formerly of Brigham City, married to Donna Smith, a member of the LDS Council of the Twelve Apostles, writer and artist. His paintings, drawings, wood carvings and new book, were Teach Ye Diligently. enjoyed by reception guests. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Packer were at the reception repre- senting the Packer family. Kenneth, an artist in his own right, exhibited watercolors and sculpture.
