Terry Holzworth water content said the in Wasatch Mountain snow-pac- k increased by 10 percent last week as a result of several spring snow storms. He said the Jordan River is already filled to capacity as are many alpine lakes and streams. Although the spring thaw hasn't begun yet Holtzworth said crews are working to clear runoff channels. KSOP broadcasts at 1,000 kilowatts during the daytime and 500 kilowatts at night. hours. all-nig- ht Federal Team Will Visit Utah has Utah FARMINGTON, (UPI) Carter President told a factfinding team to visit the Davis and Box Elder 5 school districts April to assess the impact of millions of dollars in lost federal funding. 23-2- Davis Superintendent Lawrence Welling said the presidential team will also visit two other districts in the West. He said Davis and Box Elder were apparently selected because "they are classic examples" of the funding problem. Impact aid is given to districts in lieu of taxes which would be collected if government installations, like Hill Air Force Base, were taxable. Women Face SALT LAKE CITY Two women (UPI) have been arraigned on charges they sold 18 pounds of marijuana to an undercover officer. Fifth Circuit Court Judge Floyd Gowans set an April 17 preliminary hearing date for Suzanne Iona Dahlen, 29, and Lorraine Nudell, 27. The pair was charged with one count each of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance for allegedly selling pot worth $25,000 to a local policeman.
