Show Art competition winners 4 Williams. The event offered the public an opportunity to see some of the outstanding art work wnlun the community, while enjoying Southwestern food from the refreshment table. The exhibit may be viewed through Aug. 2, and is open to (lie public. Gallery hours are: Monday. 5-9 p.m.; Tuesday-Iriday, 10 a.m. -6 p.m.; Saturdav-Suiul.iv. 2-5 p.m. 2175 S. The BountifulDavis Art Center announced the winners of the 1990 Davis County Competition and presented certificates to the 13 artists ar-tists during a brief ceremony at the opening reception in honor of all of the artists, Thursday evening, July 12. - A total of 43 artists are represented rep-resented in this multi-media exhibit of oil paintings, watercolors, pastels and lithographs. The top winners, who received a cash award, include: first place, George Handrahan; second place, Rob Adamson; third place, Betty Rowland; and the 10 honorable mentions are: Carolyn Blackburn, Layne Forbes, Norma Forsberg, Charlene Higbey, Keith Larsen, Thomas Leek, Richard Miles, Todd Orchard, Colleen Parker and Karen |
