'; j - vows f 1 I I A Bountiful man has been awarded the Life Achievement Award from the Utah Association of Life Underwriters. Association Director Marianne Davis said that John R. Cushing was chosen for his character, business busi-ness accomplishments, community service and personal qualities. Cushing joined the life insurance business in the early 1960s, and now works with Metropolitan. He has held various positions with the Lakeview, Salt Lake and Utah Associations of Life Underwriters, and is currently on the executive committee of the Utah Association. He has also served with the Utah Chapter of CLUs. Cushing also has been a member of the Bountiful Exchange Club and Primary Children's Medical Center Planned Gifts Committee, and has been a bishop and has served in a stake presidency. He presently is on the board of trustees at Lakeview Hospital and serves as scoutmaster in his ward. JOHN R. CUSHING Cushing and his wife, the former Marco Mabey, have four children and six grandchildren. |
