Show Kapp named mission president Heber B. Kapp of Bountiful is one of six new mission mis-sion presidents appointed by the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Kapp, 66, is a construction management consultant. He was born in Ogden and holds degrees from Weber State College and the University of Utah. He is currently serving the church as a Regional Representative, Rep-resentative, and has served as stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, Young Men president and high councilor. His wife, the former Ardeth Greene, is a native of Alberta, Canada. She is the general president of the church's Young Women organization, and has served as counselor in the general Young Women presidency. Relief Society president, Sunday School teacher and on several general Church correlation and curriculum committees. |
