BPT went through the tourney unbeaten to win the crown, although al-though ' Codale played . them as tough as anyone. In the last of the fifth, Steve Schnegelberger ; walked, Purdie singled and. Walker, lofted a sacrifice fly to make ft 4-3. Codale added a fifth' run in its half of the sixth, as Seeley, Pratt and Jewkes all singled, and Greg Jones hit a sacrifice fly. But BPT: rallied to close the gap to 5-4 in the bottom of the inning, as Benard reached on an error, Campbell singled him to third and Davis hit another sacrifice for his second RBI of the game.
