Volleyball begins with an August 31 match as Davis hosts Skyline, and Bountiful High will hold its in- -vitational-on September;-1-2. Region play begins on September 7 for both regions. While golf and girls' tennis wait a week to begin, football starts with games Friday night, as two longtime long-time rivalries are forced to open the . year because of the realignment. Woods Cross hosts Davis and Viewmont travels to Bountiful, both at 7:30. All four teams should figure fig-ure in their respective league races this fall.
