Groundbreaking ceremony held e for new Farmington meetinghouse of, the Farmington :12th Ward. Speakers included Charles R. Norton, Nor-ton, president of me Farmington Utah-4StakeWffliam i C. Rigby, stake patriarch and long-, " term resident of Farmington and E. Jay Nielson, the building's architect. archi-tect. A musical selection was rendered by eight members of me Farmington 12th Ward. A groundbreaking ceremony for a new ; meetinghouse on West Shepard Lane in Farmington was held Saturday, May 6. The building will be of the Cody design, which is the larger of the approved meetinghouse plans of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The building will be constructed on a site previously used as a church welfare farm. Construction is scheduled to begin immediately with expected completion in April 1990.
