Show Robson, recognized expert on business research, to speak at BACC luncheon R. Thayne Robson, a nationally recognized expert on economic and business research, will speak to BACC members on the value of such work at the May meeting. Professor Robson's talk will be given Wednesday, May 17 at noon at the Servus Drug. The public is invited. The speaker is executive director of the Bureau of Economic and Business Research and Research Professor of Economics at the University Uni-versity of Utah. Professor Robson was educated at Utah State University, Cornell and Harvard Universities. He has taught at Harvard and the University Univer-sity of California at Los, Angeles -and has extensive consulting experience expe-rience in both the business and government sectors. At present he is vice chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Salt Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau Bu-reau and served as chairman of the Committee of One Hundred for the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Com-merce for 1986-87. His most recent . community endeavor involved serving as vice chairman of Salt Lake County's R. THAYNE ROBSON Salt Palace Expansion Feasibility Task Force. Professor Robson is author of numerous books , and journal articles. ar-ticles. He is recognized as an authority au-thority on the economy of the Rocky Mountain region and Utah and serves as an advisor to many business and government leaders. |
