Show DUP elect new county officers On Tuesday, April 5, at the Farm-ington Farm-ington City Hall, officers and delegates dele-gates from the ten camps comprising compris-ing the Daughters of Utah Pioneers FarmingtonCenterville County met ' to elect new county officers. The nominating committee responsible for selecting the names were: Mary Ellen Smoot, chairman; Bernice Smith, Stana Wood, Ruth Brown and Esther Rockwood. The in vocation, was offered by Evelyn Asay and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Wanda Wood. President Mary Johnson conducted the meeting. She inform- ed the group that she had written the-. the-. National Board with a suggestion, that the county be divided into two counties, thereby creating the possibility for growth in the area. She further-reported that the.divi- sion into two counties had been ap- proved by the National Board and the slate of names of those nomi- nated for an office has been ac-' cepted. .
