Show Mary I. Passey CLEARFIELD Mary Ircttia Passey, 95, of 336 S. 700 E., died Wednesday, April 27, 1988 at the Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton of causes incident to age. She was born July 3, 1892 in Paris, Ida., a daughter of William Thomas and Dora Findlay Oakey. She married Ezra T. Passey April 12, 191 1 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 4, 1955. She had lived in Clearfield since 1964, and had previously lived in Paris, Ida., moving to Ogden in 1943. She was a member of the LDS Clearfield 5th Ward and had been a Relief Society president in the Paris, Ida. Ward and the Ogden 12th Ward. She had been a visiting teacher for Relief Society and was active in all the auxiliaries. She had been a Pink Lady at the Dee Hospital in Ogden, and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Wild Rose Camp. Surviving are one son and two daughters. Rex W. She was preceded in death by five daughters. Funeral services were held at the Lindquist's Clearfield Chapel April 30 with Bishop Robert W. Speirs officiating. Family prayer was by Dana Pickard; prelude, Karen Timothy; "I Heard Him Come" by Darlene Hanson accompanied by Sonja Kelsey; invocation, Lynn Satter-thwaite; Satter-thwaite; remarks, Bishop Robert W. Speirs; speaker, Riona Daley; musical selection by Robert Pickard, Pick-ard, Don Bush, George Hanson, and Jed McFerson, accompanied by Sonja Kelsey; speaker, Rex W. Passey; "O Divine Redeemer" by Darlene Hanson accompanied by Sonja Kelsey; benediction, Bret D. Passey. Dedication of the grave was by Brent Satterthwaite with interment in the Paris, Ida. Cemetery. Pallbearers were Blaine Anderson, Ander-son, Greg Pickard, Levier Daley, Jay Stromberg, John Arkoudas, Keith Bird, Bryce Passey and Wynn Passey. |
