Show Paramedics deliver baby girl While on patrol Monday morning, morn-ing, Davis County paramedics Nancy Koning and Chris Frost received re-ceived a report of a woman in labor. Within two minutes, the paramedics pa-ramedics arrived at Tammy and Bruce Hock's residence and delivered deli-vered a baby girl to the proud parents. pa-rents. The Hocks woke early that morning thinking that day was just a normal Monday. Mrs. Hock began be-gan her daily routine with some morning discomfort. Not being due until May 12, she did not think there was anything to be alarmed about. However, by 7:44, the Hocks knew their baby was not going to wait any longer. At 7:46 the paramedics arrived and determined deter-mined that the baby needed to be delivered at home rather than waiting wait-ing to get Mrs. Hock to the hospital. hos-pital. The baby girl was delivered by deputy paramedic Nancy Koning with the assistance of deputy paramedic para-medic Chris Frost. Both mother and baby had a normal birth with no problems. Mrs. Hock told the paramedics that she and her husband had already picked a name for their new daughter. Still only minutes old, little Jennifer had a name and was already sucking her thumb. Mr. Hock proudly held his daughter daugh-ter as she and her mother were transported to the LDS Hospital by the Bountiful City Fire Department ambulance. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hock on the birth of their daughter, Jennifer, and to the paramedics for a job well done. |
