Show Bountiful gets road FARMINGTON The roadway road-way east of Bountiful Junior High School belongs to the Davis County Coun-ty Schopl District but they don't want it. Bountiful City does. For many years it was assumed this roadway was the property of Bountiful City. It was maintained by the city and used as a public thoroughfare for access to the recreational re-creational complex. This includes construction of new parking and converting this roadway into a two-way two-way street. By researching deeds during this remodeling, it was discovered the roadway belonged to the school district, not Bountiful. It serves no purpose in relation to Bountiful Junior High School. It is needed by Bountiful as an access to the parking lot. Tuesday evening Dr. Dean Pen-rod, Pen-rod, assistant superintendent for buildings and grounds, recommended recom-mended that the board declare the roadway surplus property and allow Bountiful City to secure it. There was no opposition to the proposal. Formal action will be taken at the May 17 board meeting. cm W SOUNTIMt f . tContSonclK -SUMMARY Of BUDGETS POR FJSCAl YEAR .
